Cold plate coolers will typically outperform coil coolers in high volume applications and pour between 38°F - 40°F. The larger the cold plate the higher the volume. Ice will occasionally bridge up and lose contact with the cold plate, therefore the ice must be forced down periodically to insure contact with the cold plate surface. Any water must be continually drained from the cooler. The cold plate should never sit in water.
